ATLANTA – (July 18, 2023) – Pond today announced the award of the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Southwest Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for new construction, renovation, and repair of natural gas and petroleum, oils, and lubricants (POL) system projects at various governmental facilities and installations throughout the Southwest United States.
Under the IDIQ, Pond will perform new construction, renovation, and repair work through design-build or design-bid-build methods for a variety of POL projects in Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, and Utah. Projects may include fuel storage and distribution systems, cathodic protection systems, and spill containment systems. The contract also covers emergency backup power systems, fire protection systems, and control systems for facilities and structures at ancillary natural gas and POL support locations.
Under the IDIQ, Pond will perform new construction, renovation, and repair work through design-build or design-bid-build methods for a variety of POL projects in Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, and Utah.

The initial term of the IDIQ is two years, with the option to extend the contract through two three-year option periods for total Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) contract period of eight years. The area of coverage may also extend to the entire NAVFAC area of responsibility (AOR) as approved by the NAVFAC Southwest (SW) Chief of Contracting Office (CCO).
