PRESS RELEASE

ATLANTA - (July 30, 2024) – Pond, an industry leader in engineering, architecture, planning and construction management services, has been awarded a contract to provide design for a roundabout in Effingham County, located in the Savannah, Georgia region. 

Under the contract, Pond will provide project management, concept development, preliminary design, and final design, including the preparation of the construction bid package. 

Located at SR 30/Noel C. Conaway Road and Midland Road, the new roundabout is proposed to reduce crashes and improve traffic operations through the intersection.

“We are excited to continue our work with Effingham County,” said Executive Vice President James McNabb. “We have completed several other projects in the area and are pleased that we can continue supporting the safety and mobility for travelers in the area.”

The design of the new roundabout is proposed to be completed by fall 2025.
