HONOLULU – (January 14, 2025) – Pond & Company (“Pond”), an industry leader in engineering, architecture, planning and construction management services, has hired recently retired Colonel David Fielder as Pacific Region Program Manager within its Federal vertical.
In this role, Fielder will oversee the coordination and monitoring of Pond’s Program activities within the Pacific region. Based in Hawaii, Fielder will support Pond’s Honolulu office.
“We are excited to have David as a part of our team to help manage our programmatic expansion including the many ongoing projects Pond is currently supporting in the Pacific Rim,” said Senior Vice President Chris Farnie. “His leadership will elevate team performance and enable Pond to better serve our Pacific clients.”
Prior to joining Pond, Fielder served as the US Army Pacific Command Engineer, overseeing projects in Korea, Guam, the Philippines, Thailand and Hawaii. In addition to overseeing complex engineering projects, Fielder brings more than 28 years of leadership experience in strategic planning, management, and safety compliance.
Fielder is a Project Management Professional (PMP) and has completed specialized military training, including US Basic and Advanced Airborne School, US Army Ranger School, and Defense Support of Civilian Authorities Phase I and II. He holds master’s degrees from Webster University and US Army War College. He earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
