Pond Welcomes Grady Smith, Jr. as Senior Vice President of Infrastructure

ATLANTA – (February 7, 2025) – Pond & Company (“Pond”), an industry leader in engineering, architecture, planning, and construction management services, is pleased to announce the hiring of Grady Smith, Jr. as Senior Vice President of Infrastructure. In this role, Smith will oversee infrastructure marketing efforts, leading sales, strategy, and client engagement initiatives.
With 27 years of experience in transit, transportation planning, and engineering, Smith brings a wealth of knowledge from both public and private sectors. Over the past 20 years in Metro Atlanta, he has played a pivotal role in major infrastructure projects across the Southeast. His expertise spans traffic analysis, congestion management planning, transit corridor alternatives analysis, transit-oriented design standards, freight studies, and regional long-range transportation plans.

Smith earned his bachelor’s degree in urban studies from the University of South Florida.
