ATLANTA - (December 5, 2024) – Pond & Company (Pond), an industry leader in engineering, architecture, planning, and construction management services, has hired Gary Bonham as Army Client Manager. In this role, Bonham will utilize his extensive military experience to build relationships with new clients and service United States Army projects and programs. 

Bonham recently served as Commander for the US Army Corps of Engineers Japan Engineer District, where he was responsible for the $4.3B US and $28B host-nation program of construction and renovation of schools, hangars, barracks, housing, utility systems, quality of life facilities, port facilities, fuel facilities, and transportation systems in Japan. Prior to his role in Tokyo, he was the Director of the National Assessment Group and Deputy Director of the Enabling Capabilities Department for the Defense Threat Reduction Agency in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Bonham also served as Commander of the 3-315th US Army Brigade Engineer Battalion; Deputy Director and Assistant Chief of Staff Engineer for the US Army Pacific in Honolulu; and Deputy Commander (Chief of Staff) for the US Army Corps of Engineers Albuquerque Engineer District.

Bonham holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno; a Master of Science in Geological Engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology; a Master of Arts in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College; and a Master of Science in National Resource Strategy from the National Defense University. 

He is a Registered Professional Engineer in Nevada.
