Pond Strengthens Leadership with Key Hire in Energy Vertical

ATLANTA – (December 9, 2024) – Pond & Company (Pond), an industry leader in engineering, architecture, planning, and construction management services, is pleased to announce the hiring of Erik Zimmerman as Associate Vice President of the firm’s Energy vertical.
In his new role, Zimmerman will focus on advancing utilities and commercial service offerings, driving operational excellence, and spearheading growth within the power, renewables, and oil and gas midstream markets. Based in Denver, CO, he will support Pond’s nationwide offices by managing stakeholder relationships, enhancing operational efficiency across contracts, and implementing innovative commercial management strategies and control measures to mitigate risks.
Prior to joining Pond, Zimmerman served as the Commercial Manager for the Energy Unit at Mott MacDonald, where he played a pivotal role in all aspects of the energy market. His expertise includes project controls, project management, and securing comprehensive, equitable project solutions.
