JACKSONVILLE, FL. – (April 25, 2022) – Pond, a progressive, full-service engineering, architecture, and planning company, is expanding its Water Resources Program with the addition of Chris Fagerstrom, PE as Water Resources Director.

Chris brings more than 23 years of experience leading the development of numerous water resources engineering, permitting, and environmental projects in the southeast. As Director, Chris will be responsible for spearheading the growth of the Water Resources Program at Pond. With proven leadership abilities and an extensive clientele, Chris will build a strong and sustainable national team to serve all of Pond’s new and existing clients and capture new markets for the firm.

With experience on a wide array of projects, Chris has led efforts including watershed management plans, municipal stormwater systems retrofit and design, municipal, industrial, and commercial site development, regional treatment facilities, hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, and water quality monitoring assessments. Chris also has experience with delivering a variety of engineering and environmental permitting solutions. Working with both public and private clients, he has led comprehensive Basin Management Action Plans for several basins in Florida, including the design for a regional shared stormwater treatment park in Gainesville. Chris has a bachelor’s in environmental engineering from University of Florida and is a registered professional engineer.
