Pond was hired by Kinder Morgan to coordinate engineering design for the addition of a butane sphere. This sphere was installed with connections to an existing loading rack and several existing pipelines.

Pond has developed an engineering design package for the project that included the design of the sphere, major equipment including pumps, and connections to existing meter skids.

Additionally, the design package included information for site grading, containment, mechanical, and structural additions. Pond's role involved comprehensive planning and design to seamlessly integrate the butane sphere into the existing facility, while also ensuring compliance with engineering standards and safety regulations.
