Greensboro Rail Offload
Pond was selected by Kinder Morgan for a project consisting of the installation of a rail off-loading system at the Greensboro Terminal. This required the construction of required equipment, including railcar tracks, piping, and new pumps.

The ethanol product was stored in two tanks located at two different terminals (one terminal required a horizontal directional drilling installation across an existing pipeline corridor), where ethanol will be blended.

Once the ethanol is blended, it will be off-loaded onto trucks for distribution or transportation. Overall, the project enhanced the efficiency and capacity of ethanol handling and distribution at the Greensboro Terminal.
