Pond maintains approximately 100 Marine Loading Arms (MLA) at 20 sites around the globe. In coordination with our in-house maintenance and repair team and network of teaming partners, Pond conducts over 140 recurring maintenance events per year. These efforts support Air Force, Navy and Marine Corps locations in both CONUS and OCONUS, providing fuel movement missions for both barge and ship operations.
Our network, while specialized, is broad and includes specialized MLA manufacturers. Pond’s team of technicians and subcontractors enable Pond to respond to minor and major repairs quickly and efficiently covering the entirety of Pond’s MLA reach which currently stretches from Japan and Guam and 14 sites along both coastlines in the Continental US. The Pond MLA program is capable of supporting both DoD and commercial MLA applications, with the capacity and expertise to provide an extensive range of services ranging from simple hydraulic hose replacements to complete overhauls and MLA replacements. The Pond MLA team routinely executes service orders ranging from $1,000 to as much as $8 million depending on client needs, scaling services to meet client needs.
