Pond developed multiple master plan concepts for Windward ‘Soccer’ Park, a single soccer field with a small parking lot, nestled between a residential neighborhood and the adjacent golf course maintenance yard. Pond provided construction documents and construction administration services for the park transformation.

The new Windward Park maintains the existing parking and a large portion of the former soccer field as an informal lawn that is now surrounded by meandering soft surface pathways, benches, bench swings, pavilions, a large playground, a new restroom building, and numerous newly planted trees. The park was turned from a single-use space that was under-utilized, to a welcoming and inviting park for the surrounding community.
