Pond provided full-service engineering for the treatment system of a pre-treatment plant of the Roseburg municipal landfill leachate in Douglas County, Oregon. Pond’s services include the final design as well as construction phase support for the supply and installation of the equipment with a building to house the 50,000 gallons per day leachate membrane bioreactor pre-treatment system with aerobic/anoxic treatment for total nitrogen as well as other constituent reduction.
Pond’s design provided the electrical, mechanical, piping, process engineering, and instrument and controls for the project, which included elementary electrical drawings for the new pumps. Pond’s process engineers provide essential process and instrumentation & controls design deliverables, including the piping and instrumentation diagrams, line lists, equipment lists, specialty items, process calculations, and equipment layouts. The piping plans provided equipment sections to support piping details and supports, piping tie-in drawings, and a tie-in list.
