Pond was contracted by the Cobb County PARKS Department to develop a new comprehensive system of signs and intuitive wayfinding for the park system. The county’s goal was to develop a distinctive look and consistency in aesthetics across all signs in the park system.

Pond developed a series of conceptual designs for county staff to review. Through an iterative process, preferred concepts were refined to develop a final set of design standards that reflects the nature of the county and creates a unique identity that will set the county apart from other regional and neighboring park systems. Cobb County will be able to use this to guide future roll-out and implementation of the signs throughout the park system.
