Pond performed a cathodic protection system evaluation, design, and construction management for cathodic protection for underground ductile iron wastewater piping, two digesters, and two clarifiers through Consulex in Cocoa, Florida.

The Pond design was well accepted by the owner as being diligent, meticulous, and well-integrated within US Air Force standards. Upon going out for bid, Pond teamed with Gideon Contracting to install the impressed current and galvanic CP systems.

System commissioning indicated the CP systems afforded the piping, clarifiers, and digesters with effective corrosion control in accordance with NACE criteria.
