ATLANTA - (June 18, 2024) – Pond, an industry leader in engineering, architecture, planning and construction management services has been awarded the Million Hours and Superior Safety Performance Awards by the National Safety Council.
The Million Hours Award recognizes organizations that have completed at least 1 million consecutive work hours without an occupational injury or illness resulting in days away from work.
The Superior Safety Performance Award honors organizations that have achieved 10 or more consecutive “Perfect Record” years without any occupational injuries or illnesses resulting in days away from work.
“These prestigious workplace injury and illness prevention recognitions by the National Safety Council highlight Pond’s culture of safety interdependence,” said Pond’s Vice President of Environmental, Health and Safety Compliance, Jim Davis. “We believe that regardless of role, everyone has the responsibility to operate safely, fostering an environment of honest communication, teamwork, and respect.”
