Mark Levine, AIA, LEED AP Joins Pond as Senior Architect / Project Manager to Grow Local Educational Business

ATLANTA, GA (06.01.2012) – Mark Levine, AIA, LEED AP recently joined Pond & Company as Senior Architect / Project Manager, working out of their headquarters in Norcross, GA. In his new position, Levine will focus on growing higher education business in Georgia as well as managing projects.

Levine brings more than 28 years architectural design experience in educational, commercial, institutional and governmental markets.

Levine received a BA in Architecture from the University of New Mexico. He is a registered Architect, a LEED Accredited Professional and NCARB Certified. Mark is a Director on the AIA Georgia Board and co-chair of the 2012 AIA SAR Conference. He is Past President of AIA Grand Valley and AIA Albuquerque and an active member of SCUP (Society of College and University Professionals). He is an active participant in CEFPI (Council of Educational Facility Planners International), CMMA (Construction Management Association of America) and GAPPA (Georgia Association of Physical Plant Administrators) and a regular speaker at industry events, including recently speaking at the 2011 CEFPI GA Summer Conference on the topic of “What Drives Design?”

He has won numerous AIA and other design awards for projects throughout the U.S.
