Masters Degree in an accredited Landscape Architecture, City and Regional Planning or Urban Design program with 2 – 5 years of related experience. Design experience should be focused in GIS, Land Planning and/or City and Regional Planning, and may include: developing planning studies, master plans, comprehensive plans, zoning regulations, analysis maps and site plans for utilization of land and physical facilities of cities, counties, and metropolitan areas. The ideal candidate will also have experience drafting reports, maps and graphics for land use, design and transportation projects according to established planning standards.

One of her notable accomplishments was the development of Florida’s Comprehensive Water Conservation Program including the development of best management practices and performance metrics, as well as design and deployment of the nation’s first web-based water conservation planning and tracking tool. Simmons has directed progressive water supply programs for clients including aquifer storage and recovery, reclaimed water, brackish groundwater supply, desalination and water conservation; and, has assisted clients in obtaining funding and financing to provide solutions to their aging water infrastructure challenges.
